This sweet toast is the perfect healthy treat to refuel a nursing mama, or anyone really. I am still nursing and find that I'm always hungry. You can find me rummaging through the cabinets trying to find something to eat at least 10 times a day. This toast is quick & easy to make and there is very little prep/cleanup involved. Almond butter is an excellent source of protein and whole grain carbohydrates can provide an energy boost. A satisfying breakfast, lunch or snack!
Almond Butter Banana Toast
2 slices bread of choice
Toast bread. Spread thin layer of almond butter on each piece of toast. Slice bananas and place on top of almond butter. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with coconut flakes. Enjoy!
